About FieldProof
FieldProof turns field photos into professional proof reports. Create a report, add Before/After photos, record issues and notes, add a signature, then export as a PDF or long image and share it — all on your phone, with no account and no internet required for the core workflow.
It’s built for contractors, cleaners, property managers, inspectors, and anyone who needs a timestamped, signed photo record of a job.

Getting started
How do I create my first report? Open the app, tap Create Report, choose the Before & After Work Report template (or another template), fill in the basic info, then add photos, issues, and a signature. When you’re ready, open the preview and export as PDF or long image.
Do I need an account or internet connection? No. FieldProof works fully offline for creating, editing, and exporting reports. An internet connection is only needed to make or restore a purchase.
Your data and backups
Where is my data stored? All your reports, photos, and signatures are stored locally on your device. We have no server and cannot see your content.
Will I lose my data if I uninstall or change phones? Yes — because data is stored only on your device, uninstalling the app, clearing app data, or switching devices can remove it permanently. Please export important reports regularly (as PDF or long image) and save them somewhere safe such as cloud storage or email.
How do I back up a report? Export the report as a PDF or long image and use the system Share sheet to send it to cloud storage, email, or a messaging app.
Can you recover my deleted reports? No. We have no copy of your data. Deletion and uninstalling are permanent.
Free plan and limits
What does the Free plan include?
- Up to 5 reports per month
- Up to 15 photos per report

- PDF and long image export (with a FieldProof watermark)

What happens when I hit the monthly limit? The 5-reports-per-month counter resets at the start of each calendar month. Re-exporting a report you already created does not count again. To create more, upgrade to Pro.

What is “Lifetime Local”? A one-time purchase that unlocks all local Pro features on your device, with no recurring subscription. It covers local features only — it does not include any future cloud sync, team features, or AI services, which (if released) may be offered separately.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device? Open Me → Restore Purchase (also available on the paywall). Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account used for the original purchase.
Restore says “No previous purchase found.” What do I do?
- Confirm you’re using the same App Store / Google Play account as the original purchase.
- Check your internet connection and try again.
- If it still fails, email us with your store receipt and we’ll help.
How do I cancel my subscription? Subscriptions are billed through the app store, so you cancel there:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → FieldProof → Cancel.
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → FieldProof → Cancel. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the current period. Lifetime Local is a one-time purchase and has nothing to cancel.
Can I get a refund? Refunds are handled by Apple and Google, not by us:
Photos and exporting
Why can’t I add more photos? You may have reached the per-report photo limit (15 on Free, 80 on Pro). Remove some photos or upgrade to Pro.
My export looks different from the preview. Make sure you’ve selected the report style you want before exporting. Professional style requires Pro. If a photo fails to load, check that it still exists on your device and hasn’t been deleted from your library.
Which file formats can I export? PDF (A4) and long image (PNG). Both can be shared via the system share sheet.
Languages and permissions
Which languages are supported? English, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, and Arabic (with right-to-left layout). You can change the language under Me → Language.
Why does FieldProof ask for camera and photo permissions?
- Camera — to take report photos.
- Photo library (read) — to import existing photos.
- Photo library/storage (write) — to save exported reports or photos when you choose. If you decline camera access, you can still import photos from your library. You can change permissions any time in your device settings.
